BMO Downtown Dash (5k)

The 2021 Downtown Dash will be held on Thursday, July 8,2021, at 6:00 pm in Corner Brook.

There will be two run options:

• In person 5 km race (competitive) and part of the corporate challenge
• Virtual 5 km (non-competitive) and part of the corporate challenge

Race Info

In person race will be capped at 100 participants. There will be prizes for both male and female racers for first, second, and third place. Competitive racers can sign up as part of the corporate challenge.

The virtual event has no race cap.

There will be a prize for the top three organizations. The prize will be a monetary donation to a charity of the corporation’s choosing. All runners for the in person event and the virtual event will have their information counted for the Corporate Challenge.

Route

Beginning at the parking area of the BMO runners will run toward Riverside Drive, circle the Port Authority building and return on the same route.

Aid Station

There will be one aid station on the course. This aid station will be self serve. All athletes must take their own bottle from the table. Grab and go items such as granola bars / bananas can be available at the finish line. Aid station will be located in the parking lot of the Port Authority Building.

T-Shirts / Kit Pick Up

T-Shirts will be available for the first 100 registered participants regardless of competitive or virtual registration.

IMPORTANT!
Race kit pick up for in- person and virtual runners will be on Tuesday, July 6 from 5 to 7 pm on the Majestic Lawn (look for the CBRC Running Club tent). T-shirt sizes will be first come, first served.
